Checkmate is truly the #1 moving company anywhere! We have used them three different times in the last 9 years and experienced nothing but professional and caring service from everyone on their team. ***** in particular went out of his way this last time and took our lack of planning and was able to not only get the job done but did it with a smile and a laugh. Truly appreciate him and everyone at Checkmate! There is no other company you should ever consider, as this is hands down the most exceptional service you will ever have out of any service provider! I purchased moving services for my kids as a housewarming present for their first home, and I have never been so impressed by a moving company. Every transaction, from my first phone call to set it up through until the empty truck pulled away was far above and beyond my expectations. Jared was extremely kind and transparent about procedures and costs, and the team that came on moving day was amazing. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, and you got the feeling they were showing the same care as if they were moving their own family! I have already told a number of friends, whether they are moving now or plan to down the road, to not even bother calling anyone else. Let's face it, moving is never fun, but this company makes it a pleasurable experience!

Checkmate Moving & Storage was recommended to us by a co-worker and we recommend them to anyone who needs help moving!! They sent over 2 of the nicest fellas who helped move us into our new home. They were fast, efficient and easy going. Totally worth every penny. Thanks again!

I worked for Checkmate for 3 years when I was 18!
I can say they have amazing employees and will go the extra mile.
No shortcuts with these guys.
Trust me.
I’ve known the Millers (owners) for 15+years!
They are an amazing, family run business.
Today I purchased my first home and had the pleasure of using checkmate. I already knew my stuff would be secure and the move would be completed in a timely manner for a great price!!
Tom and Jared have incredible work ethic, and they teach that on all their crews.
I wouldn’t use anyone else for my moving/packing needs.

I can't recommend this company highly enough. I used them twice in two months. They were very reasonably priced, their estimates were right on the money and upfront. The guys they sent both times were friendly, helpful, and very fast.

Amazing job!!! They were the best, most efficient, respectful and friendly movers I’ve ever had!! We ended up having way more then expected due to some of the new furniture showing up earlier than planned. I contacted Jared and he said he wasn’t sure they could supply more than the 1 truck already reserved for us since we were moving in a week. On moving day, Surprise, we had 3 TRUCKS and 7 guys. Truly fantastic customer service and the movers were so incredibly helpful and friendly!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Highly recommend. Did a great job moving items from 3 levels of my parents home out for donation and relocation to other family members. Arrived on time, wasted no time, were efficient polite and hardworking young men. Well worth the price, and were flexible with regard to our needs. Working with Jared was pleasant, straightforward and easy. Good communication. Everything was as promised.

Checkmate moving and storage made my move from Denver to Canyon City last month so easy, I can’t believe it! And their price was incredibly reasonable.
Their communication was always prompt and courteous. The moving guys were so nice and very competent. The move went without a hitch. They were the only moving company I contacted that knew how to move a 900 pound safe without any further discussion or Hemming and Hawing.
I highly recommend them. God bless them!
